A woman in my town is definitely demonstrating that she has more than just a seed within her! Nancy Kain organized the first Peace in the Park festival in Loveland, Colorado last year and over 500 people showed up.
Kain, who studied renowned peace activist hopes to teach kids about peace--lessons they can put to use on the playground to combat bullying.
Far from being a political event, this is a family festival promoting peaceful solutions to conflict.
Peace starts within and grows one person at a time.
